Brotherly Musicianship

So, Danny and DJ's dad won tickets to a Philadelphia Flyers game going on tonight. Danny went along and I'm sure he's having a kick-ass time. This left Derrek and myself with the opportunity to say goodbye to conventional rehearsals where we just go over our music time and time again in order to keep our composure live (you know, without digital aids, auto-tune, backing tracks, and other effects) and say hello to a good old-fashioned songwriting jam session! YES!

Let's just say that, within two hours' time, Derrek and I managed to have an almost complete skeleton for a new song and at least three or four solid beginnings for others. Sure, we're releasing a new EP titled Don't Give In at many digital retailers this Friday but we're already well on our way working on new material to potentially be used for a future release.

So far, this newest material is really pushing the envelope for us. Although I feel we've mastered songwriting formulas, we're throwing in even more influences this time around.

Keeping ourselves busy...

...almost like the hardest-working man in show-business himself.

Hey, everyone! We just wanted to let you know that this blog will be used to keep everyone up-to-date on as many events as possible concerning our band, Adalie. We'll be providing updates by way of journal entries, photos, videos, and more. From this point forward, we definitely need to make this space more aesthetically appealing and we'll see where things go from here!
